GLASGOW AIRPORT: UK AIRPORT OF THE YEAR

That this House congratulates Glasgow Airport on being awarded Airport of the Year at the 2015 National Transport Awards; notes that this awards ceremony was held on 8 October 2015 at the Westminster Park Plaza in London and aims to celebrate successful national and local transport projects; acknowledges that this award follows on from Glasgow Airport being named Scottish Airport of the Year at the Scottish Transport Awards in June 2015; recognises that Glasgow Airport has recently won 20 new routes and has just completed a £20 million terminal upgrade; and further congratulates Amanda McMillian, Glasgow Airport Managing Director, and the other 5,000 people who work at Glasgow Airport, for achieving this success.
