SPECIAL GUARDIANS

That this House recognises the valuable care undertaken by Special Guardians, including grandparents, appointed as such under Special Guardianship Orders under the Children Act 1989; believes that Special Guardians should be publicly congratulated on the fulfilment of their caring responsibilities, which are often carried out in very difficult personal circumstances; and calls on the Government to commend and highlight the excellent work and care that Special Guardians deliver across the country.
