KELTY BOWLING CLUB

That this House congratulates Kelty Bowling Club on receiving a grant of £7,500 from Awards for All; understands that Kelty Bowling Club will use this funding to extend its current sporting facility and create a new locker area for up to 80 people, allowing the club to accommodate its members and visiting teams much more comfortably; notes that much of the planned extension work will be undertaken by volunteer tradesmen in order to keep the overall costs to a minimum; believes that Kelty Bowling Club plays an integral role in the local community, providing coaching sessions to 66 schoolchildren from Kelty's two primary schools, in addition to regularly hosting sponsored competition and an annual bowling gala; and wishes the Club well with its planned extension works.
