BARNARDO'S SCOTLAND IN FIFE

That this House acknowledges the work of Barnardo's Scotland in Fife, which has been providing support to children and families facing multiple adversity in the area for 20 years; welcomes the wide ranging services provided, from early intervention with families experiencing poverty to intensive support to families affected by parental drug and alcohol misuse; commends the services on reaching out to 580 families during 2014 to 2015; further acknowledges the crucial role that third sector organisations play in supporting vulnerable children and families at a time when there is increasing need for such services; and wishes the organisation well in continuing to provide vital support to those who need it most.
