SOLHEIM CUP IN GLENEAGLES

That this House congratulates Gleneagles Hotel for being awarded the honour of hosting the 2019 Solheim Cup by the Ladies European Tour; further congratulates Visit Scotland and the Scottish Government for their work in bringing another huge international golf competition to the venue; and looks forward to this event providing an inspiration for local girls and boys to take up the game that Scotland has given to the world, in addition to providing a welcome boost to the Perthshire economy.
