HEATHROW FLIGHTS

That this House welcomes the announcement that, from May next year, British Airways will have daily flights between Inverness and Heathrow; congratulates the team at HIAL for securing this vital service which is likely to result in a considerable economic boost to the Highland business community; however also recognises that in order to ensure that regional airports links are sustainable and guaranteed, an immediate review of current public service obligations arrangements is required.
