That this House congratulates Scottish bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) in securing a settlement with the Chinese firm BYD, potentially worth £2 billion, to initially manufacture 200 single deck buses a year; acknowledges the great achievement made in reaching an agreement such as this, with the world's largest producer of solely-electric powered buses; and commends the management and workforce of ADL on a contract that will secure the Falkirk based company's future and confirm its well-respected reputation and global expertise.
