AGRICULTURAL TENANCIES

That this House commends the Tenant Farmers Association (TFA) for its FBT10+ campaign, aimed at encouraging average lengths of term on farm business tenancies to be raised from current levels of less than four years to over 10 years; urges landlords to consider letting longer agricultural tenancies; and calls on the Government to consider the fiscal and legislative proposals of the (TFA) to encourage landlords towards good practice in letting longer term agricultural tenancies.
