LARIAM

That this House is aware that the use of Lariam amongst members of the UK's armed forces is causing increasing alarm throughout the services with the numbers of personnel reporting serious side effects rising; believes that the safety of the drug is now seriously in doubt and that it should no longer be used on personnel until its safety can be guaranteed; and calls on the Government to undertake a thorough review of all of its immediate, mid-term and long-term treatment of all military personnel who have suffered any detrimental side effects of being administered with Lariam.
