AYRSHIRE HEARING SUPPORT

That this House congratulates S.I.S.G. Enterprises Ltd, trading as Ayrshire Hearing Support, for securing a £286,400 grant from Investing in Communities, Supporting 21st Century Life; acknowledges the value of supporting almost 800 older people with acquired sensory loss across Ayrshire each year; recognises that the project will provide a range of support options that will enable older people with sensory loss to stay in their homes for longer by enhancing their communication skills and coping mechanisms through peer support, practical support, social interaction and participation in activities; and commends the Big Lottery Fund Scotland for its role in helping these individuals, their families and communities greatest in need in these challenging times.
