SCOTTISH HOCKEY NORTH DISTRICT

That this House congratulates Scottish Hockey North District on the receipt of funding from Awards for All which will allow it to hold taster hockey sessions in nine secondary schools across Aberdeen City and Shire; notes the physical and social benefits which young people gain from taking part in team sports; and hopes that those involved will enjoy the sessions and that it will encourage young people to get involved in some of North District's excellent hockey clubs.
