NORTH HIGHLAND RADIO

That this House congratulates North Highland Radio (SCIO) in Alness, Ross-Shire, on receiving an Awards for All grant of £9,779; recognises that this funding will provide North Highland Radio with the equipment and studio infrastructure required to apply for an FM broadcast licence; commends the hard work discharged by the dedicated volunteers that operate and manage the radio station to provide a broad and diverse range of excellent programming for the North Highlands on a not-for-profit basis; and welcomes the mission of the organisation that includes creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds to learn new skills and realise their full potential through volunteering effort and by supporting their continued development.
