ELDERLY CARE IN BALLANTRAE

The motion
That this House congratulates Ballantrae Rural Initiative Care in the Community Ltd in securing a £250,000 award from the Scottish Land Fund; acknowledges the value of supporting and caring for the elderly; recognises that the funding will allow a project to create a 12-bed residential care facility for the elderly which will augment and extend the range of services available to the community; and commends the Scottish Land Fund for its role in helping these individuals, their families and the surrounding community.
