LANARKSHIRE EPILEPSY SUPPORT GROUP

That this House congratulates the Lanarkshire Epilepsy Support Group on securing £9,887 support from the Communities and Family Fund; welcomes its pledge to use this funding for a peer support project for families with children under age eight who have epilepsy; supports the Communities and Families Fund in its initiative to offer funding of between £250 and £10,000 to grassroots projects to improve the early learning, health and wellbeing for children which is jointly financed by the Scottish Government and the Big Lottery Fund; and recognises the vital community work done by the Lanarkshire Epilepsy Support Group for epilepsy sufferers and their families.
