BRIDGE CHURCH COMMUNITY ACTION PROJECT BIG LOTTERY FUND AWARD

That this House congratulates the Bridge Church Community Action Project in North Ayrshire, on being awarded £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund in February 2016 as part of the Awards for All Scotland grant programme; commends the work of the Big Lottery Fund, which supports smaller organisations in securing funding for a variety of projects and improvements, including assisted learning, enhancing local spaces, and bringing communities together; understands that Bridge Church Community Action Group seeks to build confidence in young people to help them fulfil their potential; and welcomes the fact that the Bridge Church Community Action Project intends to put the money towards a five-day residential snowsports adventure holiday for 32 young people and four volunteer leaders at Glenshee.
