That this House notes the decision of the Home Office to inform the Brain family of Dingwall that their right to remain in the UK has been refused and that they have been given 28 days to leave; further notes that this young professional family who studied in the Highlands, having returned to their ancestral country, are exactly the type of young people required to help grow and sustain the economy and that their young son was thriving at the local Gaelic primary school; and calls on the Home Office to grant the family the right to appeal whilst remaining in the UK and to continue in employment throughout this process.
