SOUTH LANARKSHIRE CARER'S NETWORK

That this House congratulates South Lanarkshire Carer's Network on securing £8,640 from the Big Lottery Fund's Awards For All Scotland grant; commends the group on creating a network of unpaid carers across South Lanarkshire, encouraging carers to participate in consultation processes and working to improve services; recognises the support given by this group to sustain the vital work that carers do for family and friends who are older, ill or have a disability; and supports the group's initiative to use this funding to build a new computer system to record information about carers.
