EAST RENFREWSHIRE ATHLETE AND THE PARALYMPICS

That this House congratulates Andrew Mullen on his selection to represent Paralympics GB in para-swimming at the 2016 Rio Paralympics; reflects on the commitment, dedication and hard work which Andrew has put in; applauds the support of the World Class Performance Programme, with funding from the Government and National Lottery Good Causes, allowing Andrew to train full-time; recognises Andrew as an excellent role model; and encourages everyone in East Renfrewshire and beyond to show Andrew every support at the Games.
