DALMELLINGTON BOWLING CLUB

The motion

That this House congratulates Dalmellington Bowling Club on its £10,000 Awards for All Scotland grant from the Big Lottery Fund; notes the benefits the club brings to the local community in providing a hub for sports events and facility hire for weddings and funerals; acknowledges the difficulties faced by small clubs in funding the maintenance of their buildings; and welcomes the roof repairs as a way of ensuring the club's continued role within the Doon Valley.
