The motion
That this House congratulates Cumnock Juniors Community Enterprise on its £6,232 Awards for All grant from SportScotland; notes the charity's efforts to encourage regular participation in sport and physical activity in an inclusive, affordable, ethical and fair manner; supports the aims of encouraging people of all ages and abilities to be more active; acknowledges the benefits of walking groups for people over 55, particularly those recovering from injury, giving them the ability to participate in a range of outdoor activities; and welcomes the opportunities this funding will provide to the older people of Cumnock and surrounding areas to exercise.
