SCOTTISH CHARITY AWARDS 2016 AND SAHELIYA

That this House congratulates Edinburgh-based charity Saheliya on winning Charity of the Year at the Scottish Charity Awards 2016; recognises the innovative and inspiring work done by Saheliya in promoting positive mental health amongst black, minority ethnic asylum seeker, refugee and migrant women and girls; applauds all the award winners at the prestigious event run by the Scottish Council for Volunteering Organisations, including Euan's Guide which won the Cracking Campaign for its Disabled Access Day; and commends all the finalists for the tireless work to improve lives and build a fairer, more inclusive society.
