The motion
That this House recognises the 50th anniversary of the opening of Glasgow Airport; notes that the airport was officially opened by HM The Queen on 27 June 1966; welcomes that this important milestone was marked by a visit by HRH The Princess Royal; recognises the recent achievements of Glasgow Airport, including being named Scottish Airport of the Year, UK and European Airport of the Year for five to 10 million passengers; commends the further investment that is planned for the airport; and wishes Glasgow Airport the best of success as it continues to serve Renfrewshire and Scotland.
