MISS ABBY KANE AND THE RIO 2016 PARALYMPICS

That this House wishes great success for Miss Abby Kane of Largs in the Rio 2016 Paralympics; congratulates Abby on her accomplishments thus far in the sport of swimming and on becoming the UK's youngest Paralympian of Team GB 2016; commends Abby on all her hard work, resilience and professionalism in her preparation for Rio 2016; recognises the role model that Abby has become for all young people across Scotland and the wider UK, as an individual who represents her home with pride and dedication in the field of sport; and wishes Abby well as she represents Scotland and the UK on the world stage in Rio, with the sound knowledge that she will perform with great skill and determination, making Largs, North Ayrshire, Scotland and the whole UK proud.
