ROBBIE SHEPHERD AND TAKE THE FLOOR

That this House recognises the contribution of veteran broadcaster Robbie Shepherd as he stands down from presenting BBC Radio Scotland’s Take the Floor; congratulates him on hosting BBC Radio Scotland's longest running show for the past 35 years and commends his contribution to Scottish traditional music and broadcasting in general; further commends his promotion of the Doric and his writing of a number of books on both Doric and Scottish traditional music and wishes him every success for the future.
