NEW LANARK PRIMARY SCHOOL PARENTS' ASSOCIATION

That this House congratulates New Lanark Primary School Parents' Association on securing £9,091 of funding through Awards for All Scotland; recognises that Awards for All is a joint programme from the Big Lottery Fund and SportScotland that focuses on awarding funding to smaller organisations with less than £250,000 annual turnover; notes that the Parents' Association will use this funding to develop a programme of play, outdoor learning, heritage and arts experiences; commends the group on taking inspiration for these endeavours from New Lanark social reformer Robert Owen; and wishes them every success in their work.
