ISABEL McCUE MBE, FOUNDER OF THEATRE NEMO

That this House warmly congratulates Isabel McCue, founder and Chair of Theatre Nemo, on her recent honour from Her Majesty the Queen; recognises that this MBE was awarded in acknowledgement of Ms McCue's exemplary service to the arts community; considers that Theatre Nemo, which is an award-winning theatre company, gives a voice to those who have become marginalised by mainstream society by mental illness, and helps to restore the confidence and self-esteem of many hundreds of people through its character-building drama, music and art; and believes that the City's slogan, People Make Glasgow, is well exemplified by charities like Theatre Nemo and women like Isabel McCue.
