The motion
That this House is alarmed at Britain's enormous trade deficit with the rest of the EU, equivalent to at least a million lost jobs in British manufacturing; notes that this has been a direct and tragic consequence of the persistent and gross over-valuation of sterling; welcomes the depreciation of sterling following the Brexit campaign; and looks forward to a strong and sustained revival of Britain's manufacturing industries in the coming years, contributing to a growing, balanced and healthy UK economy for the future.
