NORTHUMBRIA AMBULANCE SERVICE

That this House is appalled that the Northumbria Ambulance Chief Laurie Caple, has ordered six custom built vehicles from Florida, United States of America; is further outraged that the cost of the vehicles is £420,000; notes that the vehicles were too tall for the garage; believes vehicles should be manufactured in the United Kingdom; and calls upon the Secretary of State for Health to investigate this ludicrous and unacceptable situation.
