AYRSHIRE PRIMARY SCHOOLS AND BREAKFAST CLUB AWARDS

That this House recognises the achievements of Ayrshire schools Tarbolton Primary and St Mark's Primary in winning the Kellogg's Breakfast Club awards for, respectively, the Best Breakfast Club in Scotland and the Long Life and Sustainability Award; values these breakfast clubs for their role in providing a nutritious start to the school day so that children are ready for the day's learning ahead and can take full advantage of physical education as well as improving their confidence and positivity; and recognises both the dedication and effort of the students and teachers involved and the generosity of their communities in providing donations and support.
