The motion
That this house commends Ayr Ladies Netball Club for gaining a £8,500 grant from Awards for All Scotland; recognises that the netball club is a voluntary sports organisation established in 1985; notes that the funding will be used to develop a walking netball session in five areas of Ayr to encourage more women to take part in exercise and run an intergenerational event to get young women to participate in netball; and acknowledges the benefits that walking netball can bring for both health and wellbeing.
