IRELAND CAPTAIN RORY BEST

That this House congratulates Ulsterman Rory Best on becoming only the fifth Ireland rugby player to achieve the impressive milestone of 100 international caps; acknowledges his heroic service to Ulster, Ireland and the British and Irish Lions; notes that under his captaincy, Ireland became the first northern hemisphere team since 2003 to beat Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in a calendar year; and welcomes the major contribution he has made as an exemplary ambassador and role model for the sport of rugby union.
