BBC SPORTS PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR AND SPORTS PEOPLE FROM NORTHERN IRELAND

That this House condemns the decision by the BBC Sports Personality of the Year panel not to include any sportsperson from Northern Ireland on the 16 person shortlist; calls on that panel to publicly spell out how Northern Ireland sports people were excluded; and demands the inclusion in that shortlist of two-weight world champion boxer Carl Frampton, two times world superbike champion Johnny Rea and most-decorated Paralympian Bethany Firth.
