DEBATE ON DIRECTIONS TO OCCUPANTS OF THE CHAIR

The motion
That this House believes that the best time to discuss initiatives by occupants of the Chair, and views on conduct to be expected, is during the days before the election of a new Speaker, in order to avoid criticism of a sitting Speaker, and to make possible agreed directions.
