PROMOTING NATIONAL LOTTERY FUNDING GOOD CAUSES

The motion
That this House welcomes that National Lottery players have helped raise £36 billion for good causes since the National Lottery was introduced in 1994; notes that the National Lottery distributors have made more than 500,000 individual grants over that period, including at least 180 in every parliamentary constituency; encourages hon. Members to support their constituents to apply for funding for local community, sport, art, film and heritage projects; and further welcomes the ongoing commitment of Parliament via the National Lottery to fund good causes which improve well-being and change lives for the better across all constituent parts of the UK.
