10 YEARS OF LENTFEST IN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF GLASGOW

That this House notes that 2017 marks the 10th annual Lentfest festival, organised by the Archdiocese of Glasgow Arts Programme (AGAP); further notes that Lentfest events aim to encourage reflection on faith ideas through the creative and performing arts during the Lenten season of renewal and reparation; congratulates the festival on attracting the support and participation of people from a variety of faith backgrounds, including those of no particular denomination; welcomes the collaborations between the festival and other organisations, including Mission Scotland, the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund and the Scottish Catholic Observer; further congratulates all the artists, musicians, writers and performers that have taken part in the festival over the years; and wishes the AGAP and Lentfest every success in the years to come.
