KENDAL COMMUNITY FLOOD TAPESTRY

That this House acknowledges the terrible floods that hit South Lakeland in 2015 following Storm Desmond; praises the community for the way it pulled together at that difficult time; recognises the importance of recording for posterity those events; notes that the production of a tapestry by the community is a unique way of remembering that terrible event; and further praises all the individuals and organisations involved in this project.
