GRAND NATIONAL WIN

The motion

That this House congratulates Lucinda Russell, trainer to One For Arthur, for the stunning victory at the Grand National in Aintree on the 8 April 2017; appreciates the importance of this success considering One For Arthur is only the second Scottish-trained horse to win at Aintree; and acknowledges that Miss Russell is only the fourth female trainer to win the world's most famous steeplechase, further demonstrating the special nature of this fantastic achievement.
