The motion
That this House congratulates Thales which celebrated its centenary of providing periscopes to the Royal Navy; and notes that on 25 August 1917 Thales, which was then trading as Barr and Stroud Ltd, delivered its first periscope to the Royal Navy at Rosyth and has been providing world-class Submarine Visual System Innovation globally ever since.
