WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY

That this House recognises that 10 October 2017 is World Mental Health Day as organised by the World Health Organisation; notes that mental health issues affect one in four people across the UK; further notes that adolescents may be particularly at risk of experiencing first episodes; notes that mental health services require parity of esteem with physical health; and urges the Government to ringfence spending in the NHS on mental health services.
