GIFFNOCK NORTH ATHLETICS CLUB

That this House congratulates Giffnock North Athletics Club on winning three team golds at 2017's Scottish Short Course and Cross Country Relay Championships; notes that the junior boys team of Reuben Macdonald, Ethan Carolan and Hamish Armitt defeated over 80 other teams on a 3x2.4 kilometre course; also congratulates the Giffnock girls who picked up the club's fifth successive triumph at under-15s level as the team of Francesca Davidson, Jennifer Murray and Helen Chong ran to gold in the Short Course Championships; and notes that Erin Wallace also managed to take silver less than a day after being awarded Scottish Young Sportswoman of the Year.
