HELP TO FAMILIES WITH BABIES ON NEONATAL UNITS

That this House recognises the pressures facing families with babies on neonatal units; acknowledges the costs for families; notes that 537 babies born in Edinburgh every year need specialist care; believes that it is vital that parents can spend long periods of time with their babies in care; and calls on health boards to explore all options to reduce costs to families.
