ASDA FOUNDATION GRANT TO CARWOOD SOCIAL CLUB

That this House notes that the Carwood Social Club has been awarded £5,000 from the Asda Foundation Christmas Fund; understands that this grant will allow the Social Club to make better use of the space within the building and continue to serve the community for many years; commends it on its services to the elderly community in Glasgow East through its daily lunch club; praises it for providing valuable support and friendship to those who attend the Club; congratulates the Social Club on securing this funding; and looks forward to the Club's continued success for many years to come.
