MR DAVID HASTINGS

That this House understands that after 10 years in the position as the Chief Executive of Strathleven Regeneration C.I.C., Mr David Hastings has announced his intention to stand down in February 2018; notes that under his tenure the company has surpassed its original target of attracting £60 million of investment to the area and to create more than 470 jobs by attracting over £100 million of investment and creating 750 jobs; believes that the work carried out by Strathleven Regeneration and its partners has been of the utmost importance in supporting the local economy and bringing jobs to the local community; and wishes to extend its thanks to David for all of his hard work and wishes him well on his future endeavours.
