IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER

The motion

That this House welcomes the new research by the Tear Fund, which shows that adults in the UK are praying more; encourages people to recognise that prayer can help to restore strength, enables people to be closer to God and focuses their heart and mind; and believes that prayer can, and does, change things.
