CLOSURE OF OSLER HOUSE SURGERY, HARLOW

That this House is aware of the decision of West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to close Osler House surgery in Harlow; understands that the decision appears to have been reached without any consultation with patients, user groups or the wider community; notes that no prior notice of this closure was given to Robert Halfon, the right hon. Member for Harlow; further notes the importance of the Osler House surgery for the Potter Street community; further understands that the closure means some residents will have to travel over two miles to get to an appointment; is shocked at the decision to close this vital service given that Harlow is a rapidly expanding town; and urges the Government to call on West Essex CCG to restore Osler House surgery for Harlow residents.
