COMMONWEALTH GAMES SELECTION (EAST RENFREWSHIRE)

That this House congratulates Nikki Manson of Giffnock North Athletic Club for being selected to represent Scotland in the high jump in the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in 2018; notes that Nikki celebrated her Gold Cost selection by clearing 1.9 metres to set a new Scottish indoor record; acknowledges that although Nikki initially missed the cut for the Gold Coast, her hard work and dedication eventually paid off to book her place in Team Scotland; also wishes every success to Nikki as she gets ready to take part in Australia.
