CYSTIC FIBROSIS TRUST CAMPAIGN

That this House commends the efforts of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in campaigning for access to the precision medicine Orkambi; recognises that the campaign has been ongoing for nearly three years; further recognises the urgency of the situation as every month that passes is critical for people with cystic fibrosis; welcomes the negotiations between the NHS and Vertex; and calls on the Government to urgently intervene to help secure a timely resolution to ensure an agreement is reached that will enable patient access to the drug without further delay.
