SCOTLAND'S YEAR OF YOUNG PEOPLE 2018

That this House celebrates Scotland's Year of Young People 2018 and commends all of Scottish youths for getting involved and ensuring their voices are heard on important issues; recognises that this enterprise provides a platform for our young people to showcase their ideas and talents; applauds the power of young people's collective voice and the brilliant initiatives and events they are organising this year such as Wee Sleep Out to end homelessness; thanks South Lanarkshire Council and local organisations such as JT Music, Young Bakers, Jades Trust and many more for their support in taking part in the Strathaven Year of Young People Festival 2018; and congratulates Strathaven young people for taking part.
