MONCREIFF PARISH CHURCH

That this House congratulates Moncreiff Parish Church on achieving two important anniversaries this year of celebrating its 175th year since foundation in 1843 by Sir Henry Wellwood-Moncreiff and of 60 years since the present church foundation stone was laid in East Kilbride; notes the church's service to the community of Calderwood in East Kilbride and beyond; records its thanks for the contribution the church has made to the spiritual and social well-being of the community; sends its warmest regards to Rev. Neil Buchanan the current minister; and wishes the church and its congregation every success in the future.
