GLASGOW'S SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS

That this House warmly congratulates Glasgow's Spirit of Christmas for successfully distributing Christmas presents to over 11,000 children in the Glasgow area this Christmas; notes that gifts to the approximate value of £277,000 were donated to children in low income households by hundreds of generous individuals and businesses; particularly recognises Vodafone UK staff for their kind donations to constituents in Glasgow Central constituency; appreciates that without the kindness of donors, and the volunteer admin team who gave so much time and effort, many children would have gone without presents at Christmas; wishes the initiative every success in the future.
